Thousands of industry professionals register to join the conference to gain access to globally recognized experts, technical content, and innovative techniques for improving security effectiveness.

With opening keynotes from Jen Easterly, Director of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and Dr. Richard J. Danzig, Senior Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and former U.S. Secretary of the Navy, this year’s conference is sure to set the bar and inspire you in new ways to help keep our world secure.

After the keynote, pick your track of choice for special breakout sessions spanning from how to build a threat-informed defense with applied solutions and MITRE ATT&CK to how to lead more effectively within cybersecurity environments.

We will reconvene at the end of the conference for a very special closing keynote including a segment from Dr. Tina Seeling from Stanford University and Toby Shapshak, editor-in-chief and publisher of Stuff Magazine, for an insightful conversation on luck in your profession and daily life. Immediately afterward, we’ll close the conference with a discussion on happiness and leadership, led by Harvard Professor Arthur Brooks. There is something for everyone!

Grow Your Skills and Earn ISC2 CPE Credits

At Purple Hats, there are a plethora of opportunities to discover new trends and best practices that will help you navigate cybersecurity challenges. You can earn ISC2 CPE credits for the majority of sessions during Purple Hats. Additionally, if you are a member of ISC2, we will submit the credits on your behalf to the organization so that you can receive automatic credit—all you have to do is enter your membership number during registration.

Show the Earth some love! Give Back to Great Causes

We believe in using Purple Hats to not only give back to the cybersecurity community, but to the global community. This year, Purple Hats is being held the day before Earth Day, and in honor of this day celebrating our planet, we’re highlighting organizations that make our world a better place: UNICEF, World Wildlife Fund, and One Tree Planted. In lieu of a registration fee, we are encouraging our attendees and sponsors to donate to their cause of choice. In addition, our most engaged attendee at the event (participating in Q&A, polls, surveys, and chats) will win the opportunity for AttackIQ to donate $1,000 on your behalf to whichever of the sponsored organizations here you choose. It’s a win-win – enjoy the conference, and participate to support a fantastic cause!

Connect with Infosec Peers

If you’re into evidence-based approaches to threat and risk management and want to hear from like-minded professionals about how to improve, enhance, and evolve your cybersecurity practice, then you’ve come to the right place. At Purple Hats, you’ll have access to practitioners from around the world and across industries like banking, insurance, healthcare, transportation, government and more, to learn how they are building proactive threat-informed defense strategies in their organizations, and utilizing purple teaming for a stronger, more collaborative frontline.

It’s completely free—and we have opportunities to grow more after the event

Several years ago we launched AttackIQ Academy—a learning hub where students can take completely free courses led by industry pros in order to learn how to stand up a stronger threat-informed defense. (And if you haven’t you should register for that too!) Purple Hats is an interactive extension of that experience – a free way for the cybersecurity community to learn and share their experiences. Whether you’re a new Academy recruit or a first-time Purple Hats attendee, we have plenty of ways for you to learn after the event!

We’re counting the days until we see you at the 2nd Annual Purple Hats Conference on April 21st. Register now to save your spot!
