AttackIQ Launches Partner Academy
Understanding attacker behavior while simultaneously becoming proactive defenders is critical in today’s cybersecurity threat landscape. It requires staying on top of—and more importantly, ahead of—adversarial techniques, tactics, and procedures. The work that the MITRE Engenuity Center for Threat-informed Defense has done around the advancement of MITRE ATT&CK and cybersecurity is a powerful foundation for organizational defense, along with implementing strategies around purple teaming and security control validation with breach and attack simulation.
Our partners, whom we value and appreciate for the work they do to help make the world safer, are key in fostering the mission of adopting a threat-informed defense practice. To that end, we are excited to announce the launch of AttackIQ Partner Academy, a centralized hub for our resellers, distributors, systems integrators, and consultants to learn about the latest advancements in building a threat informed defense practice.
What is Partner Academy?
Based on the award-winning AttackIQ Academy for cybersecurity practitioners, Partner Academy provides access to free courses and educational materials including online classes led by security experts, hands-on labs, certification, and technical content for cybersecurity topics ranging from purple teaming to assessment design for security controls.
The ultimate goal of these resources is to teach partners how to sell and create significant cybersecurity value for customers at this critical juncture where cyberattacks globally are escalating at a rapid pace. By engaging with Partner Academy learning opportunities, partners will be able to better understand and articulate the value of AttackIQ Security Optimization Platform, and help their customers develop a proactive, collaborative cybersecurity strategy.
Choose from two learning paths
Within Partner Academy, there are two dedicated learning paths led by AttackIQ cybersecurity experts: AttackIQ Training for Sales and AttackIQ Training for Engineers.
The AttackIQ Training for Sellers learning path walks partner account representatives through AttackIQ’s value proposition for security optimization, complete with classes on how to communicate to customers the value of a threat informed defense, and next steps on how they can adopt such a strategy to improve their security posture.
The AttackIQ Training for Engineers learning path walks partner technical teams through the three foundational courses to build a solid foundational knowledge of three major topic areas: Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK, Foundations of Purple Teaming, and Foundations of Breach & Attack Simulation (BAS).
Upon completing learning paths and passing course exams, partners will become either Certified AttackIQ Sales Associates or Certified AttackIQ Professionals.
